The following was taught and prayed through during our 9:30 a.m. family prayer time with Sue DeGroot

‭Proverbs 3:5-6 AMPC‬
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. [6] In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament defines the word "trust" in this way: "to set one's hope and confidence upon" and "to be secure fearing nothing." It is also frequently translated as "confidence," "security," and "hope."

‭Psalm 37:3-5 AMPC‬
Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. [4] Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. [5] Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

‭Psalms 27:13-14 MSG‬
I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God.

Faith forever trusts God/His Word - don't give the 'what if' any place.

To trust is to believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of something. So, when it comes to trusting God, that means believing in His reliability, His Word, His ability, and His strength. The Bible says that God cannot lie. That He always keeps His promises. That He loves you and has good in store for you.
