The following was taught and prayed through during our 6 a.m. prayer time with Pastor Ric Borozny

1 Timothy 2:1-3
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

  • We prayed for our government, including our local upcoming elections. And we prayed for the labourers and the harvest.

Psalm 122:6-7
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”

  • We prayed for Israel.

1 Samuel 22:1-5

David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. 2 And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.

3 Then David went from there to Mizpah of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and mother come here with you, till I know what God will do for me.” 4 So he brought them before the king of Moab, and they dwelt with him all the time that David was in the stronghold.

5 Now the prophet Gad said to David, “Do not stay in the stronghold; depart, and go to the land of Judah.” So David departed and went into the forest of Hereth.

Acts 1:15, 20(b)-22, 26

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the [a]disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said,

‘Let another take his office.’

21 “Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.”

Also read Acts 2:1-2, Exodus 33:12-15, and Isaiah 43:1-9.

  • We are praying for our core group to be strengthened. And for the " next generation " to rise up and take their places.
